Maintenance Guide

Battery maintenance tips:

To maximize battery performance, try to charge and store your battery indoors at room temperature. Disconnect the battery if you don't use the scooter for a long period, as letting the battery discharge while connected can cause damage.

There are several things you can do to help overcome these problems. First, try to avoid completely draining your battery before charging it to full capacity. This is called a 'cycle' and the more cycles your battery goes through the less efficient it becomes. Charge your battery while it still remains a little power and this will extend its life.

Tyre:

Your tyres work a lot while riding, and you can help them by monitoring tyre pressure (pneumatic tyres only) and tyre tread.

Let's start with tyre pressure. Underinflated tyres are more likely to puncture, have less grip, and can lead to excessive wear. Therefore, it is important to check your tyres before each ride to ensure the pressure is at the recommended level.

We also strongly recommend that you take a puncture protection solution to help reduce the risk of a puncture. What this fluid does is to instantly create a permanent seal in the event of a puncture, minimizing pressure loss and allowing you to continue your journey. Whether you choose to apply the sealant yourself or take advantage of our installation services (since removing wheels and repairing punctures can be difficult), sealant is a cost-effective way to maximize the life of your tyres.

Now let's look at tyre tread, which affects both pneumatic and solid composite tyres. Since your tyres are the main point of contact between an e-scooter and the road, it's no surprise that they wear out over time. There's nothing you can do to prevent this, so keep an eye on your tyres and be prepared to replace them when necessary (especially if your scooter has a foot brake).

Brakes:

Speaking of brakes, they are arguably the most important parts of your e-scooter in an emergency. All electric scooters have different braking mechanisms, so read your user manual for specific details and advice. on how to maintain your braking system.

In general , it's a good idea to check your brakes regularly, especially if your scooter has a disc brake, themselves will also need to be adjusted from time to time.

What is not covered by the warranty:

Water damage (don't ride in the rain or through puddles which can cause water damage to internal parts)

Damage caused by misuse (for example, damage caused by an accident)

Damage caused by use outside the recommended or intended use, for example, use by a person exceeding the recommended weight (100 kg)

Electric scooters that have been altered or modified from the original manufacturer's specifications

Maintenance of consumable parts such as inner tubes, tyres and brake pads
